Justin Bieber arrived in Sydney on Monday to attend a week-long meeting in a Pentecostal Hillsong Church, after the pop star this year promised to shed its image of the festival.
“Justin is here, like tens of thousands of others, as a delegate who is trying to build strong foundations in your life,” said the Hillsong Church in a statement.
Music is central to form Hillsong worship but the Canadian singer is unlikely to make any of the songs based on the faith of Hillsong, according to the church.
Bieber has made headlines for her hard party lifestyle and with the law in several countries, including a January 2014 arrest for allegedly running a Lamborghini Miami.
He announced in January at his Facebook page that he wanted to leave behind their “arrogant” and arrogant “behavior.
Last year, the Hillsong Conference in Sydney attracted some 20,000 followers in more than 60 countries.
